Bianca Strzalkowski (Jacksonville, NC) is a technical writer and freelance editor.
A proud Marine Corps wife of 15 years, she has experience in news reporting, social media management, and content marketing. As a mother of three, Bianca has spent her time volunteering with various military service organizations, such as In Gear Career and the Homefront United Network. Because of her volunteerism, the 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James Amos, awarded her with a Certificate of Commendation.
Throughout her role as a military wife, she has watched as the face of the spouse community has evolved. There is no longer one cookie cutter mold of what a military spouse should look like, so Bianca is proud to partner with the organizations strengthening the community’s will to pursue their dreams.
Prior to her freelance writing career, Bianca was the Deputy Director of Membership for Blue Star Families and former Managing Editor of The Onslow Times. She has appeared in interviews for television, radio, and print to include Fox News, CNN, and even Oprah.
Currently, Bianca resides in North Carolina where her husband is stationed at Marine Corps Air Station New River. She is a member of the Military Reporters & Editors Association and advisor to The MilSpo Project.
Bianca is honored to join forces with the American Military Partner Association to advocate for universal support programs for all military families who give so much in the name of freedom for this country. She actively works to highlight and advocate for the mission of AMPA. United we stand as a community of one!
